MISSION STATEMENT
The MBA Ambassadors are a select group of 1st and 2nd year MBA students that provide business school applicants and prospective students with a link to current UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA’s.  Students work directly for the Admissions Office to support their mission of bringing the best and brightest to UNC Kenan-Flagler every year.

WHO WE ARE

The MBA Ambassadors participate in many different on- and off-campus events in order to expose and connect current students to our potential future classmates.  Click on this [insert link labeled “What We Do”] link to take you to our “What We Do” page (genius, right?) where you can find details on all of events, including:  Campus Visit Program (Greeters, Class Escorts, etc.), Fellows Visits, Experience Weekend, Preview Kenan-Flagler Day, MBA Cafés, and more.

We are always looking for excellent UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA students to join our ranks. Our recruitment process starts during the Analytical Skills Workshop (ASW) and during Orientation in August for first year students. We have MBA Ambassadors that are ready to answer any question you might have about school and life at Chapel Hill. UNC Kenan-Flagler Ambassadors are also selected to provide perspective into various industries and careers.

 The MBA Ambassadors provide a number of ways to get prospective students in contact with current students. Take a look at all of the different activities and events that we participate in!

• Admissions Office Greeters
  Many prospective students will be spending some time in the Admissions Office in between the different events throughout their campus visits. MBA Ambassadors will be waiting for you in Admissions Office to answer any questions you might have about anything and everything UNC Kenan-Flagler.
• 
  Class Escorts
  Prospective students who register ahead of their campus visits will have the opportunity to attend one of many different MBA classes. An MBA Ambassador will be there to escort you to class, introduce you to the professor, and to address any questions you may have about the academic side of being an MBA candidate at UNC Kenan-Flagler.

• Lunch Hosts
  What better way to break up the busy day of a campus visit than with some lunch in Café McColl with a couple of current MBA students? Ambassadors will join you at lunch for some lighthearted conversation and answer questions about life as a student at UNC Kenan-Flagler.

• Tour Guides
  After lunch, you will have the opportunity to take a 30-minute tour of the McColl Building, home to Kenan-Flagler. An MBA Ambassador (or two) will be lead the tour and share some insight about where we spend the majority of our time while on campus. Listen close so that you can answer Barbara Ann’s trivia question at the end.

• MBA Cafés around the World
  MB A Ambassadors – current and alumni – host “MBA Cafés” at coffee shops and baristas in cities large and small around the World while we are away on academic breaks throughout the year. Prospective students can drop in to share a drink with Ambassadors and discuss any and all things MBA. Keep an eye out for announcements from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Admissions Office for dates and locations in a city near you.

• Special On-Campus Events
  Ambassadors provide the muscle for many of the events during on-campus events such as Experience Weekend, Fellows Visits, Experience Kenan-Flagler Day, Women’s Weekend, and Inside Kenan-Flagler. You’ll find us greeting you at registration, taking you on tours of campus, and in general making sure that you’re able to make the most of your time with us. • BSBA/MAC Activities
  MBA Ambassadors participate in a variety of activities with the BSBA and MAC programs, including conducting interview prep, resume reviews, tutoring and coaching sessions.

• MBA Alumni Ambassadors
  You will have the opportunity to network with our recent graduates at the various cafés around the world. Please take the opportunity to contact the café host to determine if alumni will be there to talk to you about life after the MBA Program and how they have managed their career post graduation. We have MBA Ambassador Alumni all around the world and they are excited to talk to you about your newest venture.
