Mission Statement

The mission of the Admissions Advisory Board (AAB) at UNC Kenan-Flagler is to develop, refine and execute admissions and recruitment-related projects that are aligned with the short and long-term goals of the Admissions Office and the MBA program.

Organization Summary

The Admissions Advisory Board works to develop and implement ideas that will help the admissions office achieve their strategic goals for the year. In addition, at the end of the year the board presents its findings from the year to the admissions committee along with recommendations for the upcoming year.

The AAB is also responsible for running Experience Weekend in the spring, UNC Kenan-Flagler's admitted student weekend. We also assist the Carolina Women in Business club with Women's Weekend and the Alliance of Minority Business Students with the diversity weekend, Inside Kenan-Flagler (IKF), which are both admissions events for prospective students.
